A bench-stable building-block with TFA-labile side-chain protecting group for introduction of Sec (Selenocysteine) into peptides by SPPS.

Liberation and deprotection of the peptides from the resin can be carried out using a standard 96:2:2 v/v TFA/TIS/H2O cocktail for 1.5h.
